At Kresna Inns, located along the Struma River, the rapids remain the same, but your experience of them will be entirely different. The key difference lies in the small inflatable raft or kayak you’ll use, along with a personal instructor, giving you a unique and up-close connection with the river. Inflatable kayaks are stable, lightweight, and highly maneuverable, making them perfect for fast-moving water. They have revolutionized river adventures.

Even complete beginners can enjoy paddling through Class II and III rapids with the guidance of a professional instructor. The feeling of navigating the Struma River in a kayak is unparalleled. Imagine learning how to handle rapids, breaking through waves, and embarking on your first river adventure. Of course, swimming and flipping are always possibilities.

Each kayaker will be equipped with neoprene clothing, a helmet, a life vest, and neoprene shoes for safety and comfort. Experienced guides will teach you paddling techniques, help you navigate the rapids safely, and assist in rescues and self-rescues when necessary. This activity does require good physical fitness. You can enjoy it with a close friend or a partner. If the river is high, your instructor will join you in your kayak to ensure your safety while maximizing your experience.
