Fly above the most magical rocks on the Balkan peniunsula- the Belogradchik rocks! We take off from a very beautiful meadow between the rocks just 5 minutes walk from the central square in Belogradchik. We fly low over the rocks and then high with the direction and strength of the wind. The free balloon flight is a real adventure, and those who dare to get into a balloon for the first time then receive a benefactor title at a special ceremony. We land in a different place from where we took off, but the balloon’s ground crew brings us back on land with the help of an ordinary car
Hot air ballooning is one of the safest aerial adventures and at the same time probably the most relaxing and most enjoyable. The balloon flies early in the morning or at dusk when the wind is calmest and floats smoothly at the speed of the wind. It rises due to the warming of the hot air in its dome and lowers as this air cools. At different altitudes there are air layers moving in different directions at different speeds and this allows the pilot to steer the direction of travel to some extent.
The balloon basket holds an average of 4 or 14 passengers.
The 60-minute flight is the first of the day, offering a breathtaking journey over the Belogradchik Rocks. The 30-minute flight is the second and departs from the landing site of the first flight, which is determined spontaneously and not known in advance.
The standard balloon flight over the Belogradchik rocks lasts about half an hour. You can select a one-hour flight.
Comfortable shoes and comfortable, sporty clothes. If it has rained recently there may be mud where we will land
Yes, the balloon is insured both if it causes damage to third parties like the roof of a barn for example, and for the persons in the basket.
When flown in suitable meteorological conditions, ballooning is the safest aerial adventure that exists. The balloon itself is a large parachute in itself, so we do not equip passengers with additional parachutes unless they are professional skydivers or paragliders.
