Embark on an exciting rafting journey down the Struma River, through the stunning Kresna Gorge. Prepare for an unforgettable adventure and gather your adventurous friends for this thrilling experience.

The location is at Kresna Inns along the Struma River, situated approximately 120 km south of Sofia, just a 90-minute drive via the E79 highway.

Be sure to bring a towel, slippers, swimsuit, socks, and a synthetic t-shirt. At the rafting base, you’ll be equipped with neoprene suits, boots, helmets, and vests, then transported to the starting point. Once there, we’ll brief you on safety procedures before hitting the river. The rafting route spans over 12 km and passes through the heart of the Kresna Gorge, featuring rapids that range from difficulty level 2 to 4 on the international scale.

Choose the kind of experience you want. For a safer but still thrilling descent, navigate the rapids and tackle the waves like a pro. If you’re seeking an adrenaline rush and don’t mind getting wet, aim for the most intense waves and boulders. Experienced rafting instructors will guide you through the most exciting parts of the Struma River. Our rafting base offers a perfect view with terraces above the river, shaded by plane trees, where you can relax and watch the boats as they pass. End your adventure with delicious homemade dairy products, cheeses, and jams—perfect souvenirs to take home.
